Stretching back more than 80 years, this Plant City festival bursts with midway hilarity, on-stage entertainment (much of it free), livestock and, of course, plenty of ways to eat strawberries. We grow in Plant City, Florida – also known as the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World. Our community grows a lot of strawberries! We are home to world renowned Florida Strawberry Festival and most importantly we are long-time proud members of the Florida Strawberry Growers Association , an organization of strawberry grower members committed to making the industry better and “sweeter in Florida where strawberry growers are harvesting their winter crop and shipping hand-picked fruit to key markets. Every year, a spotlight shines on the small town of Plant City, Florida. Not only is this charming town as quintessential as it gets, but from December to March, people descend on Plant City to score some seriously fresh fruit.
